Pearl Jam have personally confirmed their participation at Jay-Z's Made in America Festival. Shortly after their name was included in the line-up that was posted on the music festival's Facebook page, the Eddie Vedder-fronted rock band tweeted, "Pearl Jam will officially be joining the lineup for Jay Z's first ever #MadeInAmerica festival."

The five-men band joins the likes of Skrillex, Miike Snow, Afrojack, D'Angelo, Maybach Music (feat. Rick Ross, Wale and Meek Mill), Passion Pit, Santigold, Prince Royce and Rita Ora. Billboard additionally reported that the rockers will headline one night of the 2-day music festival.

Made in America Festival will take place at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park on Labor Day Weekend, September 1 and 2. It is expected to include 28 bands overall. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 A.M. EDT, while a limited number of $99 dollar tickets will be available starting at 10 A.M. EST on Tuesday, May 22.
