Frederic Prinz von Anhalt holds a press conference at his home after Francesca Hilton requested a judge to appoint a conservator to oversee the ailing actress' finances and medical care.

AceShowbiz - The feud between Zsa Zsa Gabor's ninth husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, and her only daughter, Constance Francesca Hilton, has once again been ignited. On Tuesday, March 20, Hilton filed for conservatorship over her mother's finances and medical care, leading von Anhalt to hold a press conference at his home.
Reacting to Hilton's conservatorship request, von Anhalt told reporters, "My wife doesn't complain. She says she's in a good condition, she feels good." The 68-year-old added that Hilton is picking on him "at the worst times," explaining, "We are right now going through a very hard time, my wife and me. We have to sell our property in order to pay our debts. My wife has $6 million in debts."
In her petition, Hilton questioned why von Anhalt took out a $700,000 loan on Gabor's $10 million Bel Air mansion, which reportedly is in foreclosure. While von Anhalt admitted to borrow the money, he said the debt was caused by Hilton who wrongfully refinanced the house years ago.
"Now, I have to pay $30,000 every month. I can't afford it, and that's the reason why I have to sell the house in order to pay my wife's debts," von Anhalt said of the matter. He further assured that the mansion is not in foreclosure. As for the default notice, he explained, "There was a document filed in court 14 days ago. It was wrongly filed. The bank apologized already."
von Anhalt's lawyer, Edward Lee, has also come to the defense of the German-born socialite Gabor married in 1986. "Anything that's contesting Frederic's devotion to his wife or his ability to take care of his wife is ridiculous," he said as quoted by CNN.
Hilton, who is Gabor's child from her marriage to Conrad Hilton, submitted her petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on the grounds that her 95-year-old mother has been kept "increasingly isolated" and "heavily sedated" by von Anhalt.
She wrote in the petition, "By isolating me from my mother, not only does her current husband deprive her of my love and companionship, but he goes against estate planning documents that appear to reflect her wishes that he not be in sole control of her affairs."
Hilton's lawyer Kenneth Kossoff further explained in a statement, "What Ms. Hilton is seeking here is for the court to make sure that Zsa Zsa's best interests are not being sacrificed for the selfish interests of anyone in Zsa's life."
"Having just learned that [von Anhalt] took out a $700,000 loan, and that there was a notice of default recorded against the property in late February 2012 because he apparently has not been paying Zsa Zsa's mortgage payment," Kossoff continued, "it became clear to Francesca that if she did not seek to protect her mother, no one else would."
A hearing is set for May 2. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz, who oversees Britney Spears' conservatorship, will determine whether the court should investigate the matter further.
