While many Hollywood A-listers celebrated the 84th Annual Academy Awards inside the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood & Highland Center, others stepped out for a viewing party in West Hollywood. On Sunday, February 26, the likes of Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry showed off their best dress at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.
For the event held at the City of West Hollywood Park in Beverly Hills, California, both opted to wear a dress which oozes elegance. 19-year-old Miley slipped into a long-sleeved, backless gown from Roberto Cavalli, while 27-year-old Katy donned a silver and black sequined dress by Blumarine that features a sheer neck.
Miley came to the viewing party accompanied by her boyfriend, "The Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth, who looked dapper in a suit. Once inside, the "Can't Be Tamed" songstress reportedly mingled with reality star Kim Kardashian and Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker.
Kim herself showed up at the event in a black Alaia dress that she paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels. She was joined by her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, who chose to wear a Raoul dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Christian Louboutin shoes, and a Swarovski clutch.
Other stars on hand at the party included "The Vampire Diaries" duo Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. 23-year-old Nina looked stunning in a black J. Mendel gown that has a plunging neckline and edgy shoulder cut-outs, while her 33-year-old co-star looked dapper in an one button peak lapel tuxedo from Emporio Armani with a bow tie.
Elton himself came in a black tuxedo coat with a sprinkling of sequins. The pop singer, who was accompanied by husband David Furnish, paired it up with black trousers and matching shoes. Newly-single Heidi Klum, in the meantime, went with a canary yellow beaded mini-dress, and pregnant Alessandra Ambrosio rocked a peach asymmetric gown.
"Glee" stars Chris Colfer and Ashley Fink, "True Blood" couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer as well as "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler and his fiancee Erin Brady were also among those in attendance.
