Nicki Minaj will be one of the performers at the upcoming NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 26 in Orlando, Florida. The "Super Bass" rapper is tapped to open the show with a medley of her hits as the players' names are announced.

Meanwhile, Mary J. Blige will sing the national anthem and Pitbull will perform in the halftime show with Ne-Yo and Nayer. Ne-Yo, for one, will participate in the All-Star celebrity game on February 24 along with Common, Kevin Hart and Vinny Guadagnino of "Jersey Shore".

ESPN will broadcast the game beginning 7 P.M. ET. A day earlier, an All-Star pre-game event will be held with performances by will.i.am, Flo Rida and first winner of "The Voice", Javier Colon.

Minaj recently became the talk of the town for her controversial Grammy performance. The emcee has responded to the criticism, saying, "You know how people write plays and movies? That's what I did. I wrote that and I gave the world a tiny little preview of what was to come. And so I have to perform it on the set in which it would be in the movie, right?"
