Jordin Sparks has a new single called 'Battlefield', which will serve as her new album's first single, and its audio stream has hit the web.

A brand new song from Jordin Sparks has been unveiled under the title of "Battlefield". The mid-tempo track is written and produced by OneRepublic's singer Ryan Tedder. It is recorded as the first single off her forthcoming second studio effort, which is yet to have a working title.
The song is made available for digital download on May 12 and will get radio airplays across America on May 25. Furthermore, it will be sung live on-stage by Jordin for the first time in "American Idol" result show on May 13 with Ryan playing guitar to accompany her performance.
Jordin Sparks eyes to drop her sophomore set in United States on July 14. In getting the record done, she will work with pop singer Jesse McCartney, either making a duet or teaming up with him behind production and songwriting tables. She also promises to include "upbeat" dance tracks, which will make the album sound more like "Beyonce [Knowles] meets Rihanna."
