The romance is on again between Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel. The couple is back together, People reports Tuesday, October 7, citing a source as saying, "They're taking it slow. They're on the road back to being together again."
Back in July 2008, Sarah and Jimmy ended their relationship after five years of dating. Offering no official statement about the extent of their relationship, both of them had their publicists confirming their split, telling the press their celebrity clients "have no further comment."
Despite their separation, the celebrity couple had been spotted on numerous outings together in recent weeks, including the New York City wedding of radio shock jock Howard Stern over the weekend. During the nuptials, held at Le Cirque restaurant, Jimmy was seen wrapping his arms around Sarah's waist and playfully grabbing her backside. Earlier in the week, they were seen acting affectionate while dining together in L.A.
Representatives for both Sarah and Jimmy have no comment on the report of them rekindling their romance. Sarah herself played it coy about defining her relationship with Jimmy. "There is no weirdness with us," she told the New York Times newspaper in an interview published Tuesday, October 7. "We talk every day. It's fine, it's great."
During a scheduled appearance on "The View" on the same day she also declined to elaborate further about that matter, telling the talk show's host Barbara Walters, "It's not like a big drama thing, we're just not defining it. We're just being right now. Is that okaaaay?"
