AceShowbiz - Netflix has revealed new additions to the cast of Nobody Wants This for its upcoming third season, introducing nine recurring roles set to deepen the show’s dynamic.
The series creator, Erin Foster, will appear as Nicole, described as a terminally single and chaotic character, while notable guest stars include Sarah Silverman, Andrew Rannells, and Keyla Monterroso Mejia. Silverman will portray Rabbi Eden, who leads an introductory course on Judaism. Rannells takes on the role of Sebastien, the rival of Joanne in her conversion class, and Monterroso Mejia plays Amber, a single woman fixated on finding a Jewish husband.
This season will also feature the return of main cast members Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn. Additional guest roles include Avan Jogia as Travis, Poorna Jagannathan as Eleanor, Sadie Sandler as Denise, Stephanie Koenig as Poppy, and Steven Weber as Julian, a humorous and confident divorced father.
In its second season, Nobody Wants This centered on agnostic podcast host Joanne, played by Bell, alongside the unconventional Rabbi Noah, portrayed by Brody. Their unexpected chemistry continued to surprise those around them, including Joanne’s sister Morgan (Lupe), Noah’s brother Sasha (Simons), and sister-in-law Esther (Tohn).
The third season will follow Joanne and Noah as they recommit to blending their lives and families. According to producers, while their relationship faces ongoing challenges due to their differences, the true test lies not only in falling in love against the odds but in staying together despite them.
The series is executive produced by showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, along with Erin Foster, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Nora Silver, Steven Levitan, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, and Oly Obst. Production is handled by 20th Television.
