Prior to embarking on an acting career, George Eads tackled various jobs, including as a copy machine salesman, as well as selling first aid and safety supplies for Cintas. Upon moving to Los Angeles, California, he landed parts on less-than-popular TV shows like "Strange Luck" and in such TV movies as "The Ultimate Lie" and "Crowned and Dangerous". He simultaneously got his big break on the primetime soap opera "Savannah".
The stint paved Eads' ways to achieve bigger parts in some other features, one most notable was that as forensic investigator Nick Stokes on the hit procedural "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". It was the role that catapulted him to stardom. Next, he could be seen guest starring on hit medical drama "ER" and on CBS' sitcom "Two and a Half Men".
