ABC: Whoopi Goldberg Farting on 'The View' Was a Joke
December 17, 2011 08:12:05Whoopi Goldberg apparently isn't hesitant to embarrass herself to stir things up. The co-host of "The View" admitted to have ripped major fart on the daytime talk show, but ABC later claimed she was just kidding. "It was a joke. Every time there is a fun noise she pretends it was her," so the network's executives tell The Huffington Post.
On Friday morning, December 16, Goldberg and other "The View" co-hosts were interviewing Claire Danes about her Showtime's series "Homeland" when a loud sound of what seems to be a fart distracted their conversation. "How polite!" said Danes with a laugh before Goldberg quickly claimed the sound came from her, "Oh, excuse me! I think I just blew a little frog out of there!"

Glenn Beck to Leave Fox News on June 30, Meredith Vieira May Return to 'The View'
June 03, 2011 10:06:15Glenn Beck's last day on Fox News has been unveiled. A source close to the situation informs that the 47-year-old anchor, who announced his retirement in April, will officially leave the daily program on June 30.
Beck, however, is not necessarily parting ways with the network since he is "developing other content for Fox, through specials and other things, on television and beyond." The network has not announced a replacement for Beck.

It was then shown from a different angle where it was clear that Whoopi lightly touched Michaele's side instead of giving her a hit.

Known as the White House party crashers, Michaele and her husband claimed Whoopi hit her from behind, prompting the host to drop the F-bomb several times at her after the show was wrapped.
As evident from the footage which is posted below, Michaele's claim was without its merit. At about minute 1:55, Michaele was startled by a touch from behind which turned out to be non-participating host Whoopi. "Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please," Whoopi who came from backstage said.

The episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, July 29 but the President would tape it first a day prior. In his appearance, he would talk about heavy issues like the oil spill in Gulf of Mexico, jobs and the economy. However, he will also be asked about his family life and what it's like to live inside the White House.

Comedian D.L. Hughley co-hosted the show in the particular episode, bringing up the issue of "down low" men aka closeted men who have sex with another male and do not tell their girlfriends. "It's primarily young women who are getting it from men who are on the down low," Hughley said speaking about the prevalence of HIV in the African-American community.

The British singer and wife of David Beckham is again tapped to co-host "The View", ABC announced on Friday, January 29 morning. During the visit, Lambert will be both performing and sitting down with the ladies for an interview. He will talk about the inclusion of him in Barbara Walters' "Most Fascinating People" which airs a day before "The View". Unlike American Music Awards which sparked the first conflict between Lambert and ABC though, Lambert's appearance will be pre-taped.

There is no domination apparent in the list, but the highlight of the day was when "The Bold and the Beautiful" finally nabbed the Outstanding Drama Series after years of being nominated under the category.
In its 22 years of running, "Bold and Beautiful" was denied the trophy while others like "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless" kept getting multiple wins. This year, "Bold and Beautiful" beat "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives". Unfortunately, as the crew and cast were about to ascend the stage for acceptance speech, the show went off air from The CW due to over timing.

Kate Gosselin Spares Time to Co-Host 'The View'

The star of TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is tapped to be one of the substitutes for regular host Elisabeth Hasselbeck who is taking a maternity leave until mid October.
According to People, Kate is scheduled for two appearances, on September 14 and 15. This date is somehow contradictory to earlier reports which specified that Victoria Adams is the one who will appear on the September 14 episode. There is still no explanation for this yet.
