After Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Keith (Craig Sheffer) learn that Dan (Paul Johansson) had a heart attack and is still in the hospital, they decide it is best for them to return to Tree Hill. When Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) learns about Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) and Nathan's (James Lafferty) marriage, she grows hostile. Meanwhile, angry that Lucas left Tree Hill without saying goodbye, Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) try to mend their friendship.
