Synopsis
Ryan and Kelly make a huge announcement to the office that they are getting divorced. This is confusing since nobody knew they were married to begin with. Ryan and Kelly try to get their co-workers to take sides, but it looks like nobody cares.
Now that Holly is single, Michael is sure they're going to get back together. But she tells Michael she doesn't think it's a good idea to date anybody in the office right away. This puts Michael in a bad mood just as he is about to accompany Jim on a sales pitch.
While Michael is in the bathroom, Jim gets a call from Helene saying she accidentally locked Cece in the car with the keys inside. Jim rushes off to rescue Cece and take her to the doctor because she is running a fever. He tells Pam that he left Michael at the gas station bathroom and she needs to go find him and bring him back, because he has Michael's wallet and phone.
Holly, Dwight, and Erin go looking for Michael, who has set out on his own adventure on foot. He starts by visiting a pet store, and then tries to get a bite to eat, despite not having a wallet. Meanwhile, Dwight and Erin realize Holly is really good at figuring out where Michael might be headed next.
Pam's artistic doodles turn into a fun captioning contest for the rest of the office. All the employees come up with funny captions for each drawing and share them with one another. Gabe doesn't find the contest funny, especially when it's at the expense of Sabre.
Holly breaks apart from Dwight and Erin and goes on her own search for Michael. She ends up on the roof of a tall building, where she spots Michael. He tells her that he wanted to see if he could spot Dunder Mifflin from the roof. She smiles and then Michael tells Holly how much he's missed her and she admits she's missed him, too. Erin reaches the roof just in time to see Michael and Holly kiss.
