It's another awesome night of Nasty Delicious at FloJack's. Plenty of fine ladies have left their phone numbers for Craig, but he's not going to call any of them. Teaching during the day and playing at night has wiped him out. Even though Victoria isn't available for seduction - his original reason for getting a steady gig - he likes teaching. Ben advises him that burning the candles on both ends isn't working. Craig has to figure something out... a sentiment Principal Taylor echoes when she catches Craig climbing through his classroom window, late again. Maybe if Craig didn't spend every night at FloJack's, he could get his work done! Later, Jimmy finds Craig rushing to grade papers in the teacher's room. Jimmy's in crisis. What if being a gym teacher isn't the life he's destined for? Craig advises him to take a career aptitude test like the one he's giving the kids next week. Victoria thinks Craig needs to get his act together too, offering to help. She has a friend in town and they're going to stop by the club tonight to see Craig play. Then she tells the rest of the teachers to join them at the club where Craig will be buying drinks for everyone.

Victoria's hot friend Kelly stops by the school, where she gets to see Craig in action with his class. Kelly loves musicians and magicians, and since Craig literally has a card up his sleeve, it already seems like a match made in heaven. Back in the classroom, Craig's class gets restless, telling him to lighten up. Maybe they don't feel like learning today. Sick and tired, Craig says, "Maybe I don't feel like teaching today" and leaves to grade some papers.

After completing the aptitude test, Jimmy's future becomes clear: he's going to be a filmmaker, aka Wes Magnum Anderson, complete with corduroy suit. Jimmy enlists Craig to drive him around in pursuit of his passion. First on the list is picking up a couple of non-English speaking "interns" off the street to help make movie history: a documentary about Craig called Afrodisiac, filming starts at happy hour. Taylor is first to the bar with bad news - the teachers have all been called to a meeting first thing in the morning - on a Saturday! Dejected, Craig takes a look around FloJack's, spying ladies, cocktails, sex and funk. Who needs teaching? After a great show, Craig makes an announcement: he's going to play music full-time.

While Ashleigh looks for a drunk and randy Principal Taylor, Victoria finds Craig making out with Kelly, enjoying the benefits of his new rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Victoria asks Craig to reconsider his decision to quit teaching, but he's got other plans and leaves with Kelly. The next evening, Victoria stops by Craig's apartment with a surprise: his kids have put together a version of the song "Stay with Me," and documentarian Jimmy has filmed it. Victoria claims the kids wanted to make the film in hopes that Craig would reconsider, and she just wanted him to see what he's giving up.

Bright and early Monday morning, Craig returns to the classroom, where the kids apologize for wasting his time and reprise the song from their video, with Craig joining in. Looks like he's right back where he started from, teaching funk during the day and funkin' out at night.
