Cotton shows up at the Hill house, wanting to send Bobby to military school, where he can prove himself.
Bobby goes to military school, where Cotton takes over as principal. It doesn't take long though for Cotton, who runs a tight ship, to lose support.
He is forced to resign and spends most of his time moping around. But when standards rapidly decline at the military school, school officials beg Cotton to come back as interim principal.
