Dale's presidential status at the gun club is being threatened and more than just his office is at stake
Dale develops a newfound confidence as gun club president but loses it during a meeting when he accidentally shoots a cash register. He becomes further emasculated when Mad Dog challenges his presidency in the upcoming election. Hank and the boys try to boost Dale's confidence by placing a fake ad in "Soldier of Fortune" magazine for an operative to perform the (simple) tasks but screws up. Instead of grabbing a metal briefcase at the bus stop, he grabs a leather one. He rips up a teddy bear inside the briefcase, thinking it contains drugs, but there are none. Dale becomes convinced that Mad Dog is setting him up and rushes to his compound to confront him. There, he finds Mad Dog holding Hank and the others hostage. Dale storms through the chimney, but is captured. He eventually is able to trick Mad Dog by making him think that some floral delivery men are CIA agents coming to storm the compound. Dale allows everyone to escape and reclaims the glory that gun club president affords him.
