Musa Danasabe Ibrahim was put under police's custody after he was apprehended in the yard of the 'Can't Be Tamed' hitmaker's neighbor, believing the property belongs to the songstress.
Police were called to Miley Cyrus' home on Thursday morning, March 24 following reports of an attempted burglary next door. Musa Danasabe Ibrahim, 26, was arrested after he was apprehended in the yard of the singer's neighbor.
X17online.com reports Ibrahim was trying to gain entry into Cyrus' house, but got the two homes mixed up. A police spokesman tells the website, "When we arrived on the scene, we found him in her neighbor's yard. He was arrested for trespassing."
An eyewitness tells the site Ibrahim claimed he "had a date with Miley". Ibrahim was taken into custody and his bail has been set at $5,000.
Representative for Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter has not made a comment for the incident as the press released.
