AceShowbiz - Cameron Diaz, 51, and Benji Madden, 45, attended actor Rob Lowe's 60th birthday party in Santa Barbara, California on Saturday, following the surprise announcement of the birth of their son, Cardinal.
Diaz wore an all-black outfit with a black shoulder purse while Madden opted for a black denim jacket and baseball cap. They were joined by other celebrities, including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Ellen DeGeneres, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The couple announced the arrival of their second child on Friday via Instagram, revealing that he is "awesome" and that they are "so happy he's here." They previously welcomed daughter Raddix in January 2020 via surrogate.
Sources had previously reported that Diaz and Madden had been considering expanding their family and looking into surrogacy options. Diaz has praised Madden as an "amazing father," saying that he is "so good" at putting their daughter to bed.
Despite their recent addition, Diaz and Madden kept their outing casual and briefly left their baby bubble to celebrate their friend. After the party, they are expected to return home to spend time with their newborn son and 4-year-old daughter.
