The Academy Award-winning actress, who launched Goop as a weekly newsletter in 2008, reveals that she would be 'happy' with the idea of making a big exit once she turns 55 in 2027.

AceShowbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow is tired of living under the spotlight, so she's ready to "disappear from public life" once she sells her wellness company, Goop. The "Iron Man" actress opened up about her plan in a Bustle cover story published on October 18.

"We're not ready to sell yet. I need a few more years," the 51-year-old shared in the interview. The Oscar winner added that she would be "happy" with the idea of making a big exit once she turns 55 in 2027.

"I will literally disappear from public life," the ex-wife of singer Chris Martin continued. "No one will ever see me again."

Gwyneth claimed she doesn't find pleasure in her celebrity status. Instead, she enjoys "creating, collaborating, being struck with new ideas, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision, that kind of thing."

Despite being a businesswoman, Gwyneth said she is not a money-oriented person. "I could never get attracted to the really rich guy," she dished. "And I don't make choices to build value in the wrong way. I've always done independent films. I don't know. Money has never been my thing. It's never been my driver."

In July 2022, Gwyneth revealed that she quit acting to focus on her company. "I think it was probably around the time of winning the Oscar where you go from people kind of being curious about you or discovering you or rooting for you to it all being upended, and people really wanting to tear you down and take great pleasure in it," she said on "Today" show.

"Which ends up being a really beautiful lesson in knowing who you are," she further shared. "Loving the people you love. Being totally in integrity. And like f**k everybody else."

Gwyneth launched Goop as a weekly newsletter in 2008. She has since gone on to build it into a major lifestyle branding, selling Goop's clean cosmetics and candles as well as other brands and even branching out into a Netflix documentary series.
