AceShowbiz - Rumors have been swirling of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes ending their relationship. But before the speculation spread even wilder, the Cuban songstress decided to put the rumors to rest once and for all with a hilarious post she shared on Instagram Stories over the weekend.
Camila shared on the photo-sharing site a screenshot of an article entitled, "Proof Shawn and Camila are broken up." Getting cheeky, she tagged her Canadian singer boyfriend and added her own hilarious commentary that read, "Well when the f**k were you gonna tell me?"
Shawn himself has also put the rumors to rest with an Instagram photo that showed Camila giving him a kiss on the cheek while he lovingly wrapped his one arm around his "Senorita" collaborator and held a drink in the other. The "Treat You Better" singer simply left a black heart emoji in the caption of the post, to which Camila responded with several heart emojis in the comment.
Not stopping there, Camila also left a cheeky comment underneath photos of Shawn posing with a koala. "I love this picture of us," so the "Havana" hitmaker wrote.
Camila and Shawn were rumored to be dating back in July, shortly after they released their hit joint single "Senorita". The latter previously denied the rumors and insisted that they were just friends, though many people didn't believe that due to their PDA-filled outings. Finally, Camila confirmed their dating report weeks later, but stressed that she would like to keep their relationship as normal as possible.
"Love is the most sacred, precious thing to me. I want to always feel like my love is between me and that person, and never belonging to anyone else," she said in an interview. "As much as I love my fans, and as much as I love people, I like to live my life as normally as possible. In a relationship, it makes me feel uncomfortable to invite everyone in that."
