AceShowbiz - Backstreet Boys has announced a new album "DNA" that is set to be released in early next year. Kicking off the promotion for their upcoming tenth studio album, the five-piece boyband released its first single "Chances" on Thursday night, November 8 along with its music video.

The music video was directed by Aj McLean with the help of Rene Elizonde. It takes place in a subway station. One girl is seen running to get into the train, but she eventually decides to miss it because she just can't leave those in need of help. A guy happens to witness the sight and ends up falling in love at first sight with the girl.

Before he can even notice, his eyes are already set to the girl, following her every moves. The brunette lady eventually starts to notice him after they sit face to face while waiting for their subway. The next scene shows a cliche romantic moment where the two accidentally touches each other's hands when they try to pick up a book on the floor. After that, they dance their way through a ball room as Backstreet Boys continues singing.

"What are the chances that we'd end up dancing?/ Like 2 in a million, like once in a life/ That I could have found you, put my arms around you," they harmonize in the chorus. "Like 2 in a million, like once in a life/ What are the chances?"

"Chances" was co-written by Shawn Mendes and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. Talking to USA Today of the new single, McLean said, "You don't necessarily have to be set up on a date or go on a dating app to meet that special someone. You could literally miss your train and happen to lock eyes with this person, and just lose yourself in that moment and go to whatever lengths to actually be with that person."

"DNA" is due out January 25, 2019.
