The new promo for the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 3 has arrived online. In the promo for the episode titled "The Once and Future Flash", Barry and Team Flash go to the future in an attempt to find out Savitar's true identity and a different Flash costume is briefly glimpsed.

During a fight in 2024, Barry is seen donning a slightly different costume from what present Barry normally wears. The costume is still red, but there are some noticeable distinct features in some parts of the costume. Unlike the present Flash costume, there is addition of gold bolts to the sleeves and the belt.

The promo also features footage in which Barry meets a long-haired hot mess of a future Barry Allen. Instead of directly answering Barry's burning question, Cisco says, "I have something you're gonna have to see for yourself."

It can also be seen that present Barry kneels down before Wally West who is in a wheelchair. "Tell me who Savitar is," Barry says, before later adding, "We won't stop before we even try!" Caitlin, still in Killer Frost mode, teases, "You're gonna be so surprised when you find out." The trailer also sees the return of two villains, Mirror Master and the Top.

The official synopsis of the episode reads, "Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar's still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar. It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues."

Directed by Tom Cavanagh and written by Carina Adly MacKenzie, "The Flash" season 3 episode 19 will air on Tuesday, April 25 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
