Adele wants to keep her personal life private. According to the Heat (via Mirror), the 28-year-old British singer wanted her wedding to Simon Konecki to be kept completely under wraps as her wedding was very much an "intimate affair."

A source told the magazine that Adele tied the knot with her boyfriend after Christmas in front of selection of "family and close friends." It went on stating that the Grammy-winning singer held the ceremony at her Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles to "avoid fuss."

"It was an intimate affair with just close family and friends," an insider told the magazine. "Her manager, Jonathan Dickins, was there, as well as her mum, Penny, and Simon's ten-year-old daughter Victoria." Adele and Simon reportedly chose to simply exchange their vows.

"Adele didn't want any fuss or to go to church. She just didn't want to deal with all the hoopla of a big do and risk people finding out about it," the insider explained. "The ceremony itself was something they knew they wanted, but they'd been putting off for a long time."

Even though they wanted to keep the ceremony completely under-the-radar, the couple still invited some of their A-list friends to witness the special day. According to the insider, Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field was one couple on the invite list.

Adele let her wedding slip while giving an emotional acceptance speech at the Grammys earlier this month, when she accidentally called Simon her husband. "Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son - you're the only reason I do it," the "Hello" hitmaker said at the time.
