AceShowbiz - Having joined Marvel's big family as part of "Black Panther", Sterling K. Brown is eying a role in a movie from the rival company, DC Comics. Soon after Warner Bros. and DC announced updates from "Green Lantern Corps" by tapping David Goyer and Justin Rhodes as the scribes, the actor has publicly shown his interest to play John Stewart.
On January 12, Emmy-winning producer Jay Bushman sent the actor a link of Warner Bros. announcing to feature another DC hero, John Stewart, in the upcoming "Green Lantern" movie. Brown then replied, "Dear powers that be, if you are looking for someone to play John Stewart, I humbly submit my name. Namaste #GreenLanternCorps."

The new "Green Lantern" movie will be different from its predecessor, 2011's "Green Lantern", since it will have two Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan and John Stewart. The decision to add another Green Lantern made a lot of people confused, but it is actually in line with the comics' original story which has multiple Green Lanterns.
It seems like "Green Lantern Corps" needs to find a new actor to play Hal Jordan, since Ryan Reynolds most likely will not join the upcoming production due to his commitment to Marvel's "Deadpool".
