Responding to the rapper's offer to collaborate, the company's Australia division posts on Facebook a design of a massive bed like one used in his 'Famous' music video.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West recently expressed his desire to collaborate with IKEA on a new range of furniture. In an interview on BBC Radio 1, the rapper told host Annie Mac that he would love to create "a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm."

"I have to work with IKEA - make furniture for interior design, for architecture... Yo IKEA, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing," he said in the interview earlier this week, adding that he believed people would want to buy anything he made. "Because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes - I want more products from Ye," he continued.

His offer didn't go unnoticed by the Swedish furniture giant, which then posted on IKEA Australia's Facebook page a mock-up of what a collaboration between them might look like. The picture shows a design of three Yeezy beds connected together side by side to create a massive bed like one used by him, his wife Kim Kardashian and their famous friends and enemies including Taylor Swift, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Donald Trump in the "Famous" music video.

"Hej Kanye, we'd love to see what you'd create... we could make you Famous!" so read the caption.

The Kanye X IKEA collaboration, however, might not happen in the near future. The company has turned down the rapper's offer to work together for now, saying in a statement to CNBC, "We are really flattered for the attention around the visit, and also in Kanye West's high interest in IKEA. There have been many speculations around potential plans for future collaborations, but we can confirm that we have no collaboration at this moment."
