Lex McAllister, a contestant in season 14 of "The Bachelor", died on Tuesday morning, February 16 after an apparent suicide, TMZ has learned. She was 31 years old at the time of her death.

According to a report from Columbus, Ohio, police received a 911 call on Saturday at around 2 P.M. The unidentified caller said that McAllister texted her earlier in the day, saying that she wanted to "end her life." When the caller came to check on McAllister at her home, she had overdosed on prescription medication.

When police arrived, McAllister's condition was still stable. She was then rushed to Grant Medical Center. However, her health began to deteriorate and her family decided to withdraw life support and she died on Tuesday. The former "Bachelor" contestant reportedly suffered from depression and bipolar disorder which probably led to her suicide.

A moment after her passing, McAllister was remembered by fellow "Bachelor" contestants and friends. Tenley Molzahn, the season's runner-up, wrote about McAllister on Twitter. "Remembering Lex," she wrote. "She was vibrant! I didn't know her well, but she was beautiful. Prayers to her family." Molzahn also posted on Facebook an image featuring an inspiring quote with a lengthy caption to remind people that they're worthy.

"The Bachelorette" season 4 winner Jesse Csincsak also uploaded on Facebook some pictures featuring McAllister. "It saddens me deeply to hear the news of my #friend Lex McAllister Taking her own life !!" he captioned the photo. "You were a beautiful person inside and out !!! You will be missed !! Until we meet again dear R.I.P gone but never forgotten !!!"
