On her version, which will be included in a new mixtape, the R'n'B singer sings the lyrics of Whodini's '90s classic 'Friends' over the beat co-produced by Boi 1da for 'Ye's song.

AceShowbiz - Erykah Badu is back with a new remix. The R&B queen, who last year released the "But You Caint Use My Phone" mixtape inspired by Drake's "Hotline Bling", dropped on her SoundCloud page Tuesday, January 12 her first song in 2016 called "Trill Friends", a rework of Kanye West's recently-released "Real Friends".

On her version, Badu calls out fake friends using the lyrics of Whodini's '90s classic "Friends". "Homeboys, homegirls, see some of them we wish we never knew at all," she sings over the beat co-produced by Frank Dukes, Boi 1da and Havo for West's track.

In a note she wrote alongside "Trill Friends" on SoundCloud, Badu said that the remix was the result of her "messing around" in the studio while she was really supposed to be "recording something else." She also revealed that the tune would be included on a new mixtape titled "This $h!t Too Easy".

The original "Real Friends" came out last week along with a snippet of "No More Parties in L.A." featuring Kendrick Lamar as part of West's revived G.O.O.D. Fridays series. The song may or may not appear on Yeezy's "Swish" album that's due out on February 11.
