AceShowbiz - Ruby Rose is more than excited to tell her fans that she will join the cast of "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage". The Australian actress took to Instagram on Thursday, January 7 to share the exciting news with a picture of her holding a rifle.
"I am so excited to be joining the XXX family. Start shooting ( excuse the pun ) next feb in Toronto," Rose wrote alongside the picture of her taking aim at a target off the camera. In another picture she shared on the same day, she looked focused and wore safety equipment for firearm training. "XXX 3 training," read the caption.
In addition to Rose, "The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev and Bollywood star Deepika Padukone will star in the third installment of the "XXX" movie series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They will join Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson who will reprise their roles as Xander Cage and Augusta Gibbons, respectively.
In the upcoming movie, it seems like there will be a meteorite hitting the earth. Diesel also shared a video showing his character, Xander Cage, leaping out of a plane and riding a motorcycle that is transformed into a waterski vehicle. An official release date for "XXX 3" has yet to be announced.
