A rep for Sony which produces the NBC drama series says the show will produce its usual 22 episodes this year.

AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for "The Blacklist" star Megan Boone. The actress is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Boston-based artist Dan Estabrook, her representative has confirmed. She's currently three months along with her pregnancy.

The 32-year-old, who was also a regular on "Law & Order: Los Angeles", sparked a speculation that she's expecting a baby girl when she posted on Instagram a photo of her wearing a shirt that reads, "The Future Is Female," four weeks ago. "My man got this shirt for me. Hot," she captioned it.

She later posted another photo on Instagram after receiving well wishes from friends and fans. "Home, after a long day's work with my Blacklist family, to your 'congratulations' and his shepherds pie. Life is good. Thank you for your continued love and support," she wrote.

But how this happy news will affect Boone's NBC show? A rep for Sony tells TVLine that the hit drama will still produce a full 22-episode season this year, but it has yet to be determined if her pregnancy will be written into the show.

Boone's Elizabeth Keen and James Spader's Raymond "Red" Reddington are two major characters on the show. The drama airs Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.
