AceShowbiz - The first part of "Avengers: Infinity War" isn't coming until 2018, but a picture of its villain Thanos has landed online. The main antagonist, played by Josh Brolin, was first previewed during Marvel's announcement of its Phase 3 slate, but this time the image arrives in high-res, giving a clearer look at Thanos wielding a complete Infinity gauntlet.
"Ultimately, it's Thanos against everyone," Brolin said in late last year about his character's part in Phase 3 of MVU. The villain first made appearance in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy".
He will be seen facing up against the Earth's mightiest heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War Part I" due May 4, 2018 and "Avengers: Infinity War Part II" slated for May 3, 2019 release in the U.S. Words are, the first part will also feature The Magus, who is Adam Warlock's evil side, as another baddie.
Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are expected to return for both installments of "Infinity War".
