Evans, an actor, is best known for his roles in such films, as "Fantastic Four," "Cellular" and "Not Another Teen Movie." He currently is filming the science fiction thriller "Push" which is slated for a February 6, 2009 release date. He, as well, will be featured in this year's Vanity Fair "Movies Rock" issue.

Latino Review reported that "Fantastic Four" hunk Chris Evans, "Step Up" star Channing Tatum and "Lost" leading man Matthew Fox are in the running for the lead role.
Earlier, it was reported that Sam Worthington is an alleged contender for the role of the All-American bad ass, but it seems that the Australian actor was no longer included in the race because of his involvement in "Avatar". Prior to the news, it was also said that Dominic West, the star of television series "The Wire" will play Destro, one of the bad guys from Cobra, but the rumor was quick to be dismissed by Paramount Pictures.

Yes, it's true, "Fantastic Four" star Chris Evans has revealed to IGN on April 26, 2007 that he next will appear in "The Night Watchman1", the Fox Searchlight and New Regency thriller set against the backdrop of U.S. third largest law enforcement agency.
Already included both Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker, the flick centers on a member of an elite group of LAPD cops who questions the ruthless tactics he has used to become such an effective force in solving murders and battling gang violence and drugs. Reeves will portray the guy while Whitaker is plotted as a captain of the elite unit called Ad/Vice.

Just before the cameras rolling on him for "The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond", Chris Evans turns out to have smoothly added another new acting stint into his hectic schedule for this year. The striking hunk revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he has been attached to an indie feature entitled "Under the Blue Sky" with "The Mothman Prophecies" helmer Mark Pellington to direct.
Expected to start filming September this year, the picture will be an Iraq drama and concerns on a man who comes home from the war. No other names listed in the cast yet for now, but Evans confirmed that he would play the guy.
