AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expected to get big settlement money from YouTube founder, Chad Hurley, over their leaked marriage proposal video. After attempts to dismiss the lawsuit filed by the couple failed, Hurley agreed to pay them $440,000 to end the legal battle.
Hurley was one of the people attending Kim and Kanye's engagement at San Francisco's AT&T Park in October 2013. Despite signing a confidentiality agreement, he secretly filmed the moment Kanye got down on his knee and he posted the footage on his new video platform, Mixbit.
Kanye proposed to Kim several months after she gave birth to their first child, a baby girl named North West. The secret engagement party was later featured on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", but there was no mention of the Chad Hurley drama.
