A little over one month after William Garner passed away, it is revealed that the 'Argo' actor is doing everything he can to support the '13 Going 30' actress.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck reportedly has helped Jennifer Garner to get back on track following the passing of her father. The "Argo" actor allegedly has been "actively involved" in supporting the "13 Going 30" actress, whose dad passed away in April.
On Thursday, May 2, what the 51-year-old actor did to support his 52-year-old former wife was revealed. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, a source spilled that he "is supportive across the board."
The insider went on to explain, "He has been checking in on her and making sure she knows he is there for her since her dad's passing." About Ben's relationship with Jennifer's father, the source said, "It was the kids' grandfather and Ben and him always got along." The insider further shared, "He considered him family and always will."
The revelation came around one month after Jennifer broke the heartbreaking news about the passing of her father. Making use of Instagram, she wrote on April 1, "My dad passed peacefully Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away- valid question)."
"While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners," she continued. "Today is for gratitude. We are grateful for Dad's gentle demeanor and quiet strength. For how he teased with a mischievous smile, and for the way he invented the role of all in, ever patient girl dad. We are grateful for his work ethic, leadership and faith."
Ben and Jennifer were married from 2005 before they separated in 2015 and their divorce was finalized in 2018. The former couple shares three children, Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose and Samuel, together.
In July 2022, Ben tied the knot with singer/actress Jennifer Lopez in Las Vegas after reconciling in July 2021. Previously, the two were in a relationship in 2002 and got engaged. However, they split in January 2004 after postponing their wedding in September 2003.
