Anthony Mackie on 'Captain America: Civil War' Story: 'It's More a Family Dispute'
Movie

The actor who portrays Falcon said his upcoming movie is about a 'family dispute' because it features a conflict between two superheroes who are like brothers.

AceShowbiz - At Disney's D23 Expo which was held in Anaheim, the first footage from "Captain America: Civil War" was shown and it was presented by Anthony Mackie and Chris Evans. Following the presentation, the duo went backstage to have a conversation with the press in which Mackie said the film is about a "a family dispute" which contained "siblings rivalry."

The upcoming movie sees the split between the team of Marvel Superhero over a matter of human registration which ended up with a war between Iron Man and the Cap. "Nah, it's not MMA. We definitely have gloves on. It's more a family dispute, and that's what so great about this movie and the characters and how they work together," Mackie said of the battle in the movie.

"It's more so when you have a sibling rivalry. The reason why people can relate to these characters so much, is because they can relate to what they're going through. Everybody's fought with one of their siblings or one of their friends and wanted to make up with them but couldn't figure out how to do it," the actor who portrays Falcon added.

Evans agreed with what Mackie said, implying that dealing with a war between friends or family was harder than defeating an enemy. "Well said. I feel like families - you have more struggles with the people you love [because] you care about them. You can't leave them, you have to make this work. If it's someone you can cut out of your life, no problem. You may not get along, but you can't just cut them out of your life," he pointed out.

The movie features some massive characters such as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). It is also a place to introduce Black Panther and Spider-Man in order to set up new franchises. Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, the superhero movie will open in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016.
