The 'Gone Girl' actor is reportedly set to direct a Batman solo movie which is said to be titled 'The Batman' and to be released in November 2018.

AceShowbiz - While fans are waiting to see his performance as the Caped Crusader in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", Ben Affleck is rumored to direct his own solo Batman movie. According to Latino Review, the solo movie is titled "The Batman".

In previous reports, it was said that "The Batman" would arrive in 2019, but the latest news from Latino Review claimed that it would hit theaters in November 2018. If the report is true, "The Batman" will be in direct competition with Marvel's female-led superhero movie "Captain Marvel", which is slated for a release on November 2, 2018.

The source also stated that Chris Terrio, who penned the screenplay for both "Justice League" films, would write the script for the solo Batman film. However, there hasn't been any official confirmation from Warner Bros. as of now.

Following "Batman v Superman", Affleck will reprise his role for "Suicide Squad". Fans already got a look from the movie's set which shows Batman on the top of the Joker's purple Lamborghini and seemingly trying to cut his way through the roof as well as a look at Batmobile on set. Besides, he will appear in Gavin O'Connor's "The Accountant" and "Live by Night", which he directs, writes and stars in.
