New footage from 'Suicide Squad' set in Toronto confirms Batman's appearance in the movie as he is seen fighting with the Joker.

AceShowbiz - After months of speculation about Batman's possible appearance in "Suicide Squad", it's now confirmed that the superhero will take part in the movie as some more videos from the movie set in Toronto arrived. The footage features Batman alongside two main characters in the movie, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and the Joker (Jared Leto).

The first video shows Batman on the top of the Joker's purple Lamborghini and seemingly trying to cut his way through the roof. Inside the car are the Joker and Quinn. Since Robbie is in full costume as Quinn, the scene with Batman seems to take place after the scene in previously seen footage, where the Joker rides his car with Quinn on the passenger seat. The second video shows Batmobile on the movie set. But, it is unclear what action the Batmobile will be involved in.

Unfortunately, sources reported that the man behind Batman's suit was not Ben Affleck and the Joker inside the car was just a stunt man, not Leto. But there is still a possibility that Affleck will appear as cameo in the movie as the actor was spotted on the set before. Besides, Batmobile was previously seen on the movie set. Though so, it is unclear whether Batman or Bruce Wayne will appear beyond this action scene.

Based on DC comic books, "Suicide Squad" centers on supervillains who are recruited by the government to perform black operation in order to gain redemption. Robbie and Leto are joined in the cast by the likes of Will Smith (Deadshot), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Adam Beach (Slipknot) and Ike Barinholtz, whose role is still unknown. Directed by David Ayer, the movie is scheduled for a release in the U.S. on August 5, 2016.
