Talking about their retirement plans, the president invites the soon-to-be-departing host to play dominoes with him.

AceShowbiz - President Barack Obama came to "Late Show with David Letterman" for one last time before the host is retiring later this month. On Monday, May 4, the President sat down with David Letterman to talk about various topics, from their retirement plans to the recent protests in Baltimore.

"Well, I was thinking you and me could play some dominoes together," the POTUS said when asked what he would do when he's leaving the White House, "go to the local Starbucks, swap stories."

Letterman revealed that President Obama told him he would take a month off after leaving office. The host responded, "Are you kidding me? After eight years of this, you're only taking a month off?"

The soon-to-be-departing host himself has made his retirement plan. "I plan to teach law at Columbia," he jokingly said.

Also during the interview, Letterman asked President Obama the "dumb guy" question, "Is this the first country you've presidented?" The President took a moment before answering, "It is I suspect the first and last country that I'm presidenting."

Earlier that night, CBS paid tribute to Letterman with a 90-minute special hosted by Ray Romano. It featured highlights from his most memorable interviews including those with guests Drew Barrymore, Justin Bieber and Gillian Anderson. There's also a segment dedicated to address Letterman's feud with Oprah Winfrey and his effort to land her as a guest on the show.

Romano also credited the veteran comedian for helping launch his career when Romano appeared for a stand-up gig on "Late Show". Letterman later executive produced "Everybody Loves Raymond".
