In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, the twin sisters said they just learned about it when John Stamos officially announced the spin-off series on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Monday, April 20.

"We just found out about it today," said Mary-Kate on Tuesday. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening." Ashley chimed in, "I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn't even talk about it." Mary-Kate added, "I'm shocked I haven't heard from John [Stamos]."

While they didn't rule their return to the new show, Ashley said, "I'm going to call [Bob] and get his perspective."

John Stamos revealed during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that the upcoming 13-episode series titled "Fuller House" would start off with a one-hour reunion and would be followed with the spin-off focusing on DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) and her three kids, along with her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).

He hinted at the return of other original cast members, jokingly telling Jimmy Kimmel, "If we can't get the Olsen twins, we're gonna dress you up."
