Ed Sheeran Announces 'Photograph' as Next 'X' Single, Promises 'Special' Music Video

The romantic acoustic ballad follows other hits from the British singer's 2014 album including 'Sing', 'Don't', 'Thinking Out Loud' and 'Bloodstream'.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran is releasing "Photograph" as the next single off his newest album, "X" (pronounced "Multiply"). The British gingerhead took to Twitter on Wednesday, April 22 to share the news and tease a "special" music video to accompany the song.

"My next single from multiply is Photograph. Wait til you see the video, it's a special one. Very excited," he wrote. The 24-year-old entertainer, however, didn't say anything about when the video would finally arrive.

Co-written by Sheeran and Johnny McDaid, and co-produced by Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie and Tyler Sam Johnson, "Photograph" is a romantic acoustic ballad on which the singer talks about him and his girl preserving their love in pictures.

"X" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 upon its release last year. Currently sitting at No. 9 on the chart, is has also spawned a handful of hit singles including "Sing", "Don't", "Thinkin Out Loud" and "Bloodstream".
