Henson slaps Taran Killam for angering her with his question and channels Cookie as she gives him advice about confronting fellow cast member who sleeps in his dressing room.

AceShowbiz - Taraji P. Henson brings her "Empire" alter ego in a promo for "Saturday Night Live". The actress channels Cookie Lyon as she promotes her upcoming hosting gig with Taran Killam.

She slaps the funnyman when he asks her, "You're not anything like your character Cookie in real life are you?" Looking annoyed, she says, "Don't ask questions you won't like the answer to, little boy."

Henson also helps Killam when he asks her how to confront fellow cast member Kyle Mooney about sleeping in his dressing room. Her advice is to put his hands on his hip and say, "Honey Boo Boo, I'm here to get what's mine," which works well.

Killam does nothing to pay Henson back as he screws up many takes of the promo. Later, he proposes an idea for "Empire" spin-off, "Umpire" which is about a super dramatic family of baseball umpires, and Henson is up for it.

Henson is hosting the April 11 episode of "SNL" with musical guest Mumford & Sons.
