Video: Taylor Swift Spoofing 'Twilight', Kate Gosselin and More
November 09, 2009 09:11:21Taylor Swift laid bare the issues that paparazzi keep hounding her for in the monologue she did for "Saturday Night Live". She took a jab at Kanye West who interrupted her MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech, Joe Jonas who broke her up over the phone and the media who questions her relationship with Taylor Lautner. The country singer did it all in the best way she knows it, singing.
She began by making fun of herself, saying that when she feels excited about something, she writes a song about it. So it became "The Monologue Song (La La La)" where Swift sang "You might think I'd bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone/ Hey, Joe, I'm doing real well, tonight I'm hosting 'SNL' "

November 05, 2009 09:11:06Yes, Taylor Swift will make fun of the MTV Video Music Awards infamous incident in September when Kanye West rudely interrupted her acceptance speech. A short video has been released via MTV to promote Swift's hosting duty on "Saturday Night Live" this Saturday, November 7.
Greeting the audience as the host, Swift is accompanied by the variety show's regular Bill Hader who is apparently on the phone. After Swift finishes her line, Hader says, "Whoops, Kanye West just called. He thinks Beyonce should host instead. Funny joke, right?" Swift makes no comment, only whispering to herself "Wow".

Taylor Swift and Kanye West Together on 'SNL'
October 27, 2009 09:10:42Taylor Swift may not be the only guest coming to "Saturday Night Live" on the November 7 episode, because the rapper who crossed her path last month may be too. Words are, producers of the variety show are working extra time in order to get Kanye West to make a "surprise" appearance.
Kanye infamously cut Taylor's Best Female Video acceptance speech at MTV Video Music Awards in September, saying that Beyonce Knowles has "the best video of all time". Taylor was apparently in shock that she didn't continue the speech. He has apologized to her since, but the incident is still making headlines.

Video: Lady GaGa's Skits on 'Saturday Night Live'
October 05, 2009 09:10:25Lady GaGa pretty much stole the limelight from Ryan Reynolds on the October 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live". Although he was the host of the night and appeared in a skit with real-life wife Scarlett Johansson, the actor made less headlines than the controversial singer who was featured in two skits, one of which she got the honor to have a cat fight and an almost kiss with Madonna.
In the first skit, Kenan Thompson introduced a monumental joint performance by Madonna and Lady GaGa. The two singers, who have been compared to each other for their unique style, briefly danced to an electro song before erupting into a war of words. GaGa said, "What's wrong Madonna, can't get into the groove?" Madonna started picking on GaGa's hair saying, "Looks like your wig needs a fix!".

Video: Jenny Slate Dropped the F-Word on 'Saturday Night Live'
September 28, 2009 10:09:13Megan Fox may be the icing on the cake during the season opener of "Saturday Night Live" but it was newbie Jenny Slate who stole the headlines after the Saturday, September 26 show. The comedienne who made her debut in the sketch called "Biker Chick Chat" dropped the most-forbidden four letters word on air.
Playing alongside regular Kristen Wiig, Slate was supposed to slip in words like "frickin' " and "friggin' " in every sentence she said. However, she said the real F-word on the sentence "You stood up for yourself, and I f**kin' love you for that." Slate made a face after realizing she had a slip of tongue, puffing her cheeks.

The "Transformers" beauty is expected to make fun of her battle with director Michael Bay in one of her skits. "They change the routines right up to the last minute but as of now they are working up a piece that would have Megan being her 'unbearable' best while Michael is a Hitler-like tyrant," a source told Radar Online.

Michaela Watkins to Move On From 'Saturday Night Live'
September 05, 2009 11:09:38There was apparently a big reason in the addition of two female comediennes, Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad, to "Saturday Night Live" cast. The variety show is subtracting two of its female regulars, Casey Wilson and Michaela Watkins, so that Slate and Pedrad can move in.
First reported by The Comic's Comic, the dismissal is verified by Watkins herself who wrote an email to the site. "I will say to you now, though, that I had a GREAT time there. Met some of the most truly talented and fantastic people, had the most exciting job and I honestly can say I don't have any regrets I can think of right now. Although it seems kinda crazy right now, this may shake out to make sense to everyone," she wrote.

John McCain Made Jokes on 'Saturday Night Live', Barack Obama's Response
November 03, 2008 09:11:50John McCain has had his share of laugh on "Saturday Night Live" but his appearance on the show couldn't beat the now famous appearance of his running mate, Sarah Palin, in terms of ratings. The Republican presidential candidate made a sketch slot on Saturday, November 1, making fun of his reputation in politic and the shortage of financial supply for his campaign. The episode was the 2nd best ratings for the show in 11 years, the first being that of Palin's.
"I'm a true maverick - a Republican without money," McCain joked, appearing side by side to comedienne Tina Fey who stood in as Palin. And so Fey provided the hook, saying "These campaigns sure are expensive," while touching the lapel of her jacket. It makes fun of the huge cost it takes to fund Palin's wardrobe.

The skit, first introduced by the so called representative of Palin, requested the journalists who attended the 'press conference' to be "seriously cool".
