A very first look at the face of the iconic monster in the forthcoming reboot is unwrapped in a poster taken from a Licensing Expo in Brazil.
How the frightening monster in the upcoming "Godzilla" will look like has apparently been uncovered. The face of the titular creature is revealed in a new poster taken by a fan at a Licensing Expo taking place at the Grand Hyatt in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The image, shortly after being posted on social media, was removed "as requested by a legal team from Legendary," but it was already spread on the internet. The poster depicts the iconic monster showing off its razor teeth.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, the upcoming movie stars Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins. Not much is known about the plot details, but the reboot is promised to "return the character [Godzilla] to its epic roots with a gritty, realistic actioner."
The script is written by a team that includes Frank Darabont and Max Borenstein. Dubbed "an epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla," the movie is scheduled to stomp theaters in the U.S. on May 16, 2014.
