The 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star and her former husband celebrate their nuptials with 400 guests of friends and family members in an 'Old Hollywood Glam' party.
NeNe Leakes remarried her former husband, real estate investor Gregg Leakes, this past Saturday, June 22. The couple swapped wedding vows in front of 400 people at the nuptials taking place at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel.
The venue was lavishly decorated in white. The bride and her bridesmaids, which included "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" castmate Cynthia Bailey and featured guest star Marlo Hampton, wore dresses designed by Gabriella Arango.
The nuptials was reportedly officiated by TV judge Greg Mathis. The ceremony which was followed by a five-hour celebration at the Windsor Ballroom was taped by Bravo for "Real Housewives" spinoff "I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding" set to premiere this fall.
The party boasted an "Old Hollywood Glam" theme. Gospel singer Kim Burrell was tapped to perform for the newlyweds. The guests included "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Jill Zarin, "The Millionaire Matchmaker" host Patti Stanger and "The Celebrity Apprentice" former contestant Omarosa.
"Got big plans this weekend?" the Bravo reality TV star teased one day before the big day. She added with a smiley face, "Cause I do." Two weeks before the wedding, the bride-to-be jetted off to Cancun, Mexico with her closest friends for her bachelorette party.
NeNe, who has appeared on "The New Normal" and "Glee", and Gregg called it quits in 2011 after 13 years of marriage with Gregg claiming "fame got to her head." The couple has son Brentt together. They reconciled and announced their re-engagement in January this year.
After tying the knot, NeNe told Life & Style, "We couldn't be happier. Marrying my soulmate is the best feeling I've ever had." Their son, 13, echoed their sentiment to E! News, "I'm so happy to see my parents remarried, as a family we've never been happier."
