'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 5 Trailer: Pole Dance and Eviction

Bravo has dropped a "super trailer" for the fifth season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". It follows the cast members doing some fun activities as they go to a strip club, enjoy a yacht ride and attend what appears to be a wedding on a beach side. Phaedra Parks, meanwhile, hosts a pet funerals.

The sneak peek also introduces its two new cast members, Kenya Moore and socialite Porsha Stewart, one of which seemingly doesn't get along well with the other cast members. Teasing more drama, the video shows Kim Zolciak who is dealing with her own issue as her family is forced to leave their Atlanta mansion after allegedly failing to pay rent.

Kim Zolciak doesn't need the other housewives to star in a reality show. The "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is getting her own show, which would be the Bravo TV program's spin-off.

Kim has been filming her new series in Georgia. Producers wanted to give her the focus because her short-term series, "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding", which aired earlier this year on Bravo, did well on the ratings.

Bravo has officially announced the return and cast members of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". Set to premiere Sunday, November 4 at 9 P.M., the fifth season of the Atlanta version will feature two new faces, actor/director/producer Kenya Moore and socialite Porsha Stewart.

They will join returning housewives Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes, Phaedra Parks and Kim Zolciak. Meanwhile, as it's reported before, Sheree Whitfeld will not return to the upcoming installment.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is losing another of its original cast members. Following rumors that she was fired from the reality series, Sheree Whitfield has confirmed she's leaving the show by tweeting on Wednesday, April 18, "Yes it is official. I'm leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta. I enjoyed my time working with everyone affiliated with the show."

To Wetpaint, she explained the reason why she's parting ways with the Bravo hit franchise. "After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful 'Housewives' franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle," she claimed.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Accused of Staging Court Scene

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been accused of not presenting a real scene. According to MediaTakeOut.com, the entire court proceeding between Sheree and her ex-husband Bob Whitfield, which was included in a Tuesday, December 13 episode, was staged.

The site noticed that the judge featured on the Bravo reality show is named Bensonetta Tipton Lane. It was later found out that the real judge Lane is black, but the female judge on the show was white.

The return of NeNe Leakes and co. was apparently eargely awaited by "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" fans. Nearly 2.9 million people tuned in the season 4 premiere of the Bravo reality series on Sunday, November 6, marking the highest premiere ratings for the hit "Real Housewives" franchise.

The number of the total viewers shows a 20% increase from last season's debut which averaged 2.4 million audience in October 2010. It lured 1.9 million people in the coveted 18-49 demo, up 10% from the season 3 opener.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is coming back to Bravo on October 4 but the drama is ready to be previewed. In a sneak peek for what's going and what's coming, model Cynthia Bailey and attorney Phaedra Parks are introduced as the new housewives replacing DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu-Hartwell who quit in season 1 and 2 respectively.

From the first impression Cynthia is not as sassy as the other wives and she even had a breakdown during one of her photo shoots. But she seemed to be the babe whom every men would like to marry. On the other hand, Phaedra is a dominating attorney to many celebrities. Pregnant with her first child, she is married to a younger man who signs a pre-nup first.
