Chris Hemsworth won't let his hometown be occupied by paratroopers in the first trailer for "Red Dawn" remake. Joined by Josh Hutcherson, Chris gathers youngsters to battle the invaders and get them out of their beloved home. Though the gang is amateur, they manage to show their enemies that they shouldn't be underestimated.

Chris and Josh's hometown becomes the initial target when a host of foreign troops infiltrated the United States in one morning. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation.

Determined to fight back, Chris, Josh and a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, and band together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

A remake of 1984 film starring Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen, "Red Dawn" is directed by Dan Bradley. The movie was developed a few years ago, but had been pushed back after MGM, which was originally set to distribute the actioner, declared its bankruptcy in 2009.

With FilmDistrict serving as the new distributor, the film is ready to open in the U.S. on November 21. Joining Chris and Josh in the cast ensemble are Josh Peck, Adrianne Palicki, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Isabel Lucas and Tom Cruise's son Connor Cruise.

Looks like they made the same mistake the original made: Glorifying war. War movies are suppose to be dark and grim, not popcorn action flicks. Too little, too late.

No no no, just no. Should have left if alone. Seriously Hollywood, you don't have anymore ideas for movies, you're just going to do remakes of obscure movies from 80's?
