Just a few days after the first on-set photo of "Serena" made its way out onto the web, the first official image from the upcoming novel-adapted thriller is now debuted. The high-resolution still presents a clear look at Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper as husband and wife.
Rocking a vintage outfit complete with a fur scarf, Lawrence is seen sporting a curly blond hair and daring red lips. Standing beside her is Cooper, who looks sleek in three-piece brown suit that he pairs with a matching tie and a hat.
Lawrence and Cooper are still filming "Serena" in Prague. Several days ago, the two actors were caught on camera shooting a scene at an old-schooled train station in the capital of Czech Republic. Both of them reunited for the movie after recently co-starring in David O. Russell's "The Silver Linings Playbook".
Set in the rugged mountains of 1929 North Carolina, "Serena" follows George Pemberton (Cooper) and his new bride, Serena (Lawrence), as they build a timber empire. One day, when she finds out that she can't have a child, Serena sets out to murder her husband's illegitimate son.
Serving behind the lens is Oscar winner Susanne Bier with Christopher Kyle penning the script based on an acclaimed period novel by Ron Rash. Also rounding up the cast ensemble are Toby Jones and Rhys Ifans. The thriller still hasn't set a U.S. release date.
