Mariah Carey shares what she loves to do during the holiday in a music video for a John Legend-assisted single "When Christmas Comes". The R&B diva is seen frolicking in the snow with some kids, cooking holiday meal for guests, and cuddling with her husband Nick Cannon, her twins Monroe and Moroccan, as well as her puppy Jill E. Beans.
The video was filmed in Mariah and Nick's Beverly Hills mansion under the direction hands of Sanaa Hamri. It has premiered during the airing of "A Very BET Christmas" special on Sunday night, December 11. Beside featuring festive footage of the family affair, it also includes scenes from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and her performance behind a grand piano with John.
"When Christmas Comes" is a track which appears in Mariah's second holiday album "Merry Christmas II You". Of its video, she says, "I wanted this to be the most fun, family Christmas. .. It's like a soulful family Christmas song and yet I wanted to add all the elements of anything magical that could happen at Christmas."
In another news related to Mariah Carey, the mother of two has been picked as 2011 BET special honoree for lifetime achievement to African-American culture. She, along with Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder and Spike Lee, will be celebrated in a ceremony, which will take place at the Warner Theatre in D.C. on January 14.
The 41-year-old singer has also accepted Humanitarian Award at Noble Gift Gala, which was hosted by Prince Azim of Brunei and Eva Longoria, on Saturday morning, December 10 in London. She was recognized for "her generous charitable activities and philanthropy," which include Save the Music and The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
