Ryan Seacrest got an unexpected treat on the red carpet of the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The "American Idol" host which was on duty as E! News host when he was "attacked" by Kathy Griffin. The comedienne planted a "very red" smooch on the lips of the Julianne Hough boyfriend.
Shortly after the kissing stunt, 36-year-old Seacrest who looked sharp in a tuxedo took to Twitter to share his feeling about it. The "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" host jokingly informed his followers, "Had a very uncomfortable encounter with @kathygriffin's lipstick. I am not okay with this."
50-year-old Griffin wore a spaghetti red gown when posing for photographers outside Nokia Theater in Los Angeles that day, September 18. It was her who teased Seacrest first. "Are you still banging the dancer?" she asked. "How did you get her? You're with Julianne Hough! And you're...you? What kind of smoke and mirrors game are you playing?"
Noticing that she has "very, very red" lips, Seacrest responded her joke by asking if she'd left her mark on anyone. That's when she "jumped" on him and said, "There, I just sold my soul to the devil." The host teased back, "Your career is over, you realize that?"
Later in the evening at the same occasion, Julianna Margulies jokingly told to Seacrest about his Griffin kiss. "I shouldn't be wiping your lips while wearing a white dress," the brunette beauty said. She donned in an Armani Prive luminous silk long dress with crescent-shaped bustier adorned with oval stones. She completed her look with strappy peep-toe heels and diamond earrings.
