After throwing a trailer serving as a spoof for "Green Lantern", a full trailer for "The Muppets" has finally been debuted. This newly-released snippet involves sword fights, romantic scenes, a full-on brawl and fart gags, and shows a new footage where Jason Segel and Amy Adams send a puppet into an electrocution accident.
Also being featured in the forthcoming movie are the likes of Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Emily Blunt, Ricky Gervais, and Rachael Ray. James Bobin serves behind the lens for the film which is slated for November 23 release nationwide.
Set during a vacation in Los Angeles, the film revolves around Walter and his friends Gary (Segel) and Mary (Adams). They discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Cooper) plans to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds.
Walter, Mary and Gary later decide to make a performance of the Muppets. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, the trio help Kermit the frog reunite Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways.
