A slew of celebrities have walked the red carpet rolled out in front of the Beacon Theatre in New York City for the 65th Annual Tony Awards. Looking particularly glamorous at the Sunday (June 12) event was "Nurse Jackie" actress Edie Falco, while "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin went with a scruffy look.
Edie turned heads on the red carpet in a black-and-white number. The 47-year-old actress opted to wear a sweeping black gown complete with a jeweled, skinny belt to accentuate her waist. She came to the event as a nominee for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play thanks to her performance in "The House of Blue Leaves".
53-year-old Alec, in the meantime, looked a little bit ragged. When coming to the awards show recognizing achievement in Broadway productions, he sported a very white beard although he donned a black tux with maroon tie. The "It's Complicated" actor was one of the presenters set for the ceremony.
Alec wasn't the only male star suiting up for the occasion. Host Neil Patrick Harris, last year's nominee Kelsey Grammer, and this year's leading actor nominee Andrew Rannells were all looking sleek in their black tux. Neil was accompanied by longtime partner David Burtka, while Kelsey brought along his new wife Kayte Walsh, and Andrew was joined by co-star Nikki M. James.
Also spotted on the red carpet was "The Normal Heart" star Ellen Barkin. Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Rock, Al Pacino, Don Cheadle, Marg Helgenberger, Brooke Shields and Anika Noni Rose were present as well.
