Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester have been snapped teaming up for the production of "Monte Carlo". On Monday, June 21, they were photographed shooting a running scene at Champs de Mars in Paris, France with a background of the famous Eiffel Tower.
Katie Cassidy also joined them during the filming that day. At some point, the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" actress was seen ditching his green high heels and replacing it with sandals. Gomez, in the meantime, opted to wear boots with Meester sporting flip-flops.
"Monte Carlo" is adapted from Jules Bass' novel "Headhunters". It tells the story of a girl and her best friend who travel to Paris, accompanied by her future, uptight stepsister. When one of the girls is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress, they are caught up in a whirlwind of attention and find themselves going on a dream vacation to Monte Carlo.
Nicole Kidman produces the movie alongside Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan. Meanwhile, Thomas Bezucha is hired to direct it with the script written by Thomas Bezucha, April Blair as well as Maria Maggenti. This romantic comedy has not had exact release date but is scheduled to come out in 2012.
