First Official Photo From 'Conan' Released

The photo featuring the title character is debuted along with announcement that the film has wrapped production.


"Conan" has completed the principal photography and Nu Boyana Film Studios, where the movie was shot, has proudly announced it on their official website. Along with the announcement, they also posted the first official image from the film.

The picture, which is said to be the one presented during a presentation at Cannes Film Festival, gives a close look at shirtless Jason Momoa who plays Conan. The lead actor is seen sporting long and wavy hair, as well as blue eyes.

Beside shot inside the studio, "Conan" was also filmed in Bistriza, Bulgaria. The movie will center its story on iconic figure Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria. Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan and Ron Perlman are among the cast ensemble for supporting roles, with Marcus Nispel serving as helmer. This action adventure flick is slated for 2011 U.S. release.
